SAMMinistries

Community Resource Portal

On the About Us page of the SAMMinistries it starts off with members of First Presbyterian Church in downtown San Antonio brought the struggles of San Antonio’s homeless community to a clear depth on how they could help. Their main mission is to help the homeless and those at risk heading in that direction.

More about SAMMinistries

Homeless prevention support for rental or utility assistance for those facing eviction is listed under the tab Get Help.

Here is a link to a PDF that I found on their website that has two different assessments that determine if an individual or family household is at risk or facing homelessness

There are also volunteer opportunities and ways to give or support the mission on their website listed under Give. There are 4 different ways or paths to give, an example you can give goods or monthly. Many people face the threat of losing their homes for reasons like job loss, eviction, or utility disconnections. SAMMinistries works to stop that cycle and provide safer, more stable living for individuals and families in our community. If you are facing these circumstances in your life please view the website and see how SAMMinistries can help or lead you in the right path with those challenges.
